I grew up in the church and was fortunate to have a praying mother throughout my childhood. Her prayers did not go unanswered. I never sunk my teeth into living for Jesus as a kid but when I went to college at Robert Morris University in 1999 God’s plan begun to unfold.
It was at Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, PA where the Lord put me in contact with some Christians on campus who invited me to church and Bible studies. Even though I heard about the Gospel throughout childhood I never responded to it or considered what it meant for my life. It was during a church service in early 2000 in Crafton Pennsylvania that I began to answer the Lord and consider who he is and what it means in my life. I was not a “bad” person by the worlds standards but I knew I need a Savior and his name is Jesus Christ.
From that point forward I began to grow in my faith by attending Bible studies, conferences, church services, fellowship with other believers, and discipleship. Over the next couple of years I began to spend more time with a local pastor, Wayne Jackson from First Assembly of God in Coraopolis Pennsylvania. It was through this relationship that my relationship with Jesus began to skyrocket! I have been attending First Assembly since 2001 and love the fact that it is our church home.
Currently my wife, Susie and I are senior high youth pastors at First Assembly but have been in youth ministry since 2001 when we started a junior high ministry called the Garrison. Other points of interest; I currently serve as a council member at First AG and I am enrolled in Global Universities Berean School of the Bible.
